Winning Marketing Strategies© (WMS©) is our marketing support service that helps organisations, over a 12 month period to devise and then implement strategic marketing plans.
With WMS© organisations can significantly boost their in-house marketing & sales capability at short notice with high quality, multi-sector experienced consultants and for less than the cost or commitment involved in recruiting a junior marketing or sales executive!
What’s different about Winning Marketing Strategies©?
1.Not only do we help clients devise innovative marketing strategy for these challenging times, we’ll also assist in its implementation, particularly facilitating internal change processes to ensure there is acceptance of the new strategy by all parts of the organisation
2.We source & manage all third party promotional services required to implement client’s agreed marketing action plans e.g. advertising, web design, database management
3.Our fee is agreed and fixed for the duration of the contract- clients know exactly how much to budget for the service for the 12 months
4.Fee payment is by 12 equal-amount standing order payments - no heavy up-front payments for clients, great for cash flow!
5.We work with clients exclusively - we do not take on any other competing business in the same sector during this time and for 12 months thereafter.
WMS© is structured into 4 phases:
- Phase 1. Month 1.
Marketing Diagnostic Consultation
An on-site consultation with the client gathers detailed information about current marketing strategy/activity. The consultant identifies & agrees with the client the short and medium term marketing issues the business needs to address to maximise its’ marketing spend.
- Phase 2. Months 1-3.
Strategic Marketing Planning
The consultant next facilitates up to 5 half-day strategic market-planning sessions with key personnel in the business, resulting in agreement on a new 3-year marketing strategy and a 12-18 month marketing action plan for the business.
- Phase 3. Months 4-11.
Plan Implementation
When the planning is finished it is equally necessary to be innovative in getting agreed plans implemented - implementation must be the responsibility of all. This is where we are particularly effective facilitators at getting organisation-wide buy-in to the new strategy.
Over the following 8 months the consultant visits the client every month for a progress review consultation. In addition the consultant diaries a weekly 30-minute telephone call to check progress and to offer clients immediate implementation support.
- Phase 4. Month 12.
Strategy Review and Forward Planning Year 2
In month 12 plans are critically reviewed to ensure ongoing relevance to the business before the next 12 months marketing action plan is firmed up.
